Another poll (not, on its face, a push poll like the one released earlier this week) being released today in conjunction withe Knowledge@Wharton Cuba Opportunity Summit in NYC finds broad support in the Cuban American community for normalized relations with the island — even more than there was three months ago when the detente was announced. The poll by Bendixen & Amandi International says half of Cuban Americans nationally are in favor of the new policy. Forty percent are opposed. Residents outside the state of Florida were more supportive of the new policy, according to the Miami Herald report on the poll, as were younger respondents.
