Hardline Cuban exiles in Miami are planning a march on Calle Ocho next week (February 24) to protest the recent openings with Cuba. Dubbed the March for Democratic Dignity, it comes on the 19th anniversary of the day when Cuban MIGs shot down planes being flown by Brothers to the Rescue in the Florida straits.

It will be interesting to see whether they can still muster the manpower to tie up Miami traffic for hours as they did repeatedly in the 1990s.
